Radio

Some talk on radio is necessary of course, like news, traffic news, weather and name of song & singer etc. It's the monkey chatter I take offense to and find boring or annoying. Given the choice of hearing a human voice or hearing music, I would choose music every time. If you have a digital radio you can program your favourite stations in and switch between them at the press of a button. I use that method a lot, sometimes every few minutes to avoid the monkey. No offense intended to monkeys.

Radio in the 21st Century

I must be the only person in the UK that wants to hear music, and music alone, when I switch on the radio. I mean, I don't want to listen to the constant chatter of the host / dj. I just want some MUSIC! There are radio stations specifically for chat but there are no stations, it seems, specifically for music. I can't tell you how frustrating it can be to hear inane talking when all I want is any kind of music. I could rant about this like an angry spewing volcano because I feel so strongly about it. It seems that 21st century humans just won't stop talking, not even when they're on air and publically talking utter rubbish.
